Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Genesys Implementation Project Manager on a day rate contract basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the transition from Avaya to Genesys, ensuring seamless delivery within budget and time constraints. This role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, technical acumen, and a proactive approach to project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the Genesys platform, overseeing all aspects of the project from initiation to completion.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including internal teams and external vendors.
- Coordinate with technical experts within the project team to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes and outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related queries and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing complex implementation projects, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Genesys or similar telecom platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and delivering value.
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
