EUC Technical Architect required for asset and liability management business in Dublin. The office is based in Dublin city centre and its hybrid model with 1 day a week in office
 
This is a senior role and will be responsible for management, support and maintenance of VMware Horizon virtual desktop environment, applications and associated infrastructure in line with company best practice
 
Responsibilities

- Work with VMware, partners and vendors on licencing, contracts, renewals and procurements.
- Ownership for VDI service administration, backup, monitoring, replication, disaster recovery for all end-users.
- Support associated platforms within operations such as Microsoft 365, AD and Azure AD
- Perform audits of IT virtual desktop infrastructure assets as required
- Plan and manage new installations, upgrades, and bespoke configuration setups
- Prepare and maintain end-user and technical user documentation for VDI environments.

- Assist in the delivery of IT infrastructure continuity and disaster recovery services

- Participate in scheduled out of hours activity / on call rota (additional allowance provided)

 
Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience in similar roles in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing and leading teams, including leading architecture, strategy and operational excellence
- Strong experience with VMware Horizon, DEM, App Volumes and instant clones

- Strong knowledge of MFA Integration, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy and Microsoft 365.
