I'm searching for a Data Engineer for rapidly expanding Data Innovation hub in Dublin. Our Client is a member of one of the largest conglomerates in the world and leverages that scale to design bespoke data models for a diverse portfolio of businesses. They access a wide source of business data from across the globe, which offers a unique opportunity to design, lab-test and trial scalable business solutions in a reliable and secure environment.

*6 month contract expected to roll
*Day rate 400-450 per day
*2 days a week onsite in Central Dublin

Responsibilities

- Create and maintain end to end data pipelines collecting data from various sources into our platform with the right quality and structure
- Implement robust code and pipelines following a DevOps approach. This includes the use of Git, Agile, automated testing, and CI/CD
- Share ideas with the team and contribute to the strategic goals by ideating and defining products across different businesses

Requirements

- 3+ years Data engineering experience
- Analytics tool experience - Databricks
- Strong data modelling and SQL (Spark ideally)
- Experience with Python
