Senior Data Engineer (Progressing to Lead)
Dublin 2 (Hybrid, onsite 2 days p/w)
Up to €110K p/a + 10% bonus, healthcare, 5% pension etc

AWS | Spark | SQL | Python

This is a well-established and extremely highly regarded SAAS company (close to 200 staff) with a high performing tech/product team operating out of Dublin.

They need to add real expertise in the team (currently 3 data engineers), their data setup currently isn’t where they need it to be… you would be evaluating this and leading the efforts of moving away from it essentially. Possibly an ideal option for a Senior Data Engineer looking to progress into a more senior/leadership role.

You will have a huge amount of ownership here, liaising everyday with the CTO, having a say in key architectural discussions, building dashboards, working with the AWS stack etc (AWS Glue, AWS Athena). Nice benefits on offer, great working environment, and you’ll be surrounded by some top engineers.

What we’re looking for..

- Roughly 7+ years’ experience with Data Engineering expertise.
- AWS expertise (Glue, Athena in particular)
- Experience with Spark & SQL.
- A strong communicator, able to lead a team.
- Experience working in a SAAS company.
