Lead Network Architect - CCIE
Mainly remote working – occasional onsite in Dublin
Role focus – Planning, Design and Implementation
Our client has an immediate need for a Lead Network Architect to join their team on a rolling remote contract and assist their client with multiple projects revolving around Network Design and Implementation strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:

- Network Design and Strategy: Develop and implement complex network architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage network projects from planning to execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the top escalation point for critical network issues, providing advanced troubleshooting, optimization, and ensuring network security.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of network engineers, fostering skill development and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Technology Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend upgrades, and future-proof the network infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.

Required for the role:

- 8+ Years of experience in Network Design and Architecture, particularly with Cisco
- CCIE Certification would be beneficial, or aspiring to CCIE
- Min CCNP certification required
- Required to be based in Ireland for the contract
