Position: Program Manager – Risk & Finance Technology

Our client is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join their team on a long-term basis. As Technical Program Manager you will join a team that build enterprise-scale solutions to support the bank’s Risk and Finance divisions. As technical Program Manager, you will foster a similar mindset and be forward-thinking in your approach to next generaition technology and agile delivery.

The Role:
We are looking for a talented and driven Program manager (Delivery Lead) to coordinate and manage the planning and delivery of high-impact projects or programs involving multiple team.. In this role, you will collaborate with key business and technology stakeholders, overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within scope.
- Developing project plans, managing risks, and implementing testing strategies to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to communicate objectives, ensure adherence to standards, and provide transparency into project health.
- Ensuring compliance with audit, operational, and enterprise change management standards.
- Driving continuous improvement by researching and adopting new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business users and development teams to deliver best-in-class risk management and finance solutions.
- Ensure effective governance, risk management, and financial/resource management across projects.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Lead the delivery of software projects/programs, coordinating across analysis, development, testing, and release phases.
- Foster collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver efficient solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Extensive experience in Project and Program Management, including Governance, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management, and Financial/Resource Management.
- Strong background in delivering projects in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with audit and operational standards.
- Proven experience managing software projects/programs with knowledge of development, testing, and release management.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and make pragmatic decisions.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with collaborative tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Solid financial services experience, with a deep understanding of financial products, business processes, and terminology.

This is a 6month initial contract with a strong pipleine of future projects. For the right Project Manager, this contract can offer multiple extensions.
