IT Search has partnered with a global gaming company as they seek to hire a creative and driven Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for their R&D team in Cork.

You'll play a pivotal role in designing next-gen gaming peripherals, leading product development from concept to mass production, and pushing the boundaries of gaming experiences.

What You’ll Do:

- Drive innovation in sim gaming products
- Lead cross-functional teams from concept through to mass production
- Design and prototype mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions
- Optimize designs for quality, performance, and cost

What We’re Looking For:

- 6-8 years of experience in high-volume consumer electronics
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
- Expertise in CAD tools, rapid prototyping, and product testing
- Passion for sim gaming and technology trends

This role is based at my client’s R&D center in Cork and they operate a hybrid remote work policy. The expected starting salary is €80K plus 10% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
