The company seeks a highly skilled .NET (Angular) Software Engineer to join their growing project team. Role Overview:
As a .NET (Angular) Software Engineer, you will be a key part of a collaborative team, responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing web-based applications the business uses. The project integrates complex financial models into user-friendly applications that drive investment decisions. This is a hands-on role for a developer with experience in financial services and a proven ability to work with a modern tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance .NET applications, leveraging Angular for front-end development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and fellow engineers, to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Enhance and maintain existing financial applications, ensuring seamless integration with databases and other internal systems.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including security, performance, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues promptly.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprints and releases to ensure the project meets key milestones.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in .NET Core/.NET Framework.
- Strong Angular development skills, with experience building responsive and performant front-end applications.
- Financial services industry experience is strongly preferred, ideally within hedge funds, asset management, or investment banking.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Entity Framework
- Solid understanding of web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
