For our client a telecommunication company based in Limerick we are looking for a Network Systems Engineer.

This Network Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of internal network infrastructure across the company. A key part of your role will be to support and develop the groups Network Management Systems, Operational Support Systems and Performance Management systems.

This is a permanent hybrid structure role 2 days a week on site/3 days remote in Limerick

Key Responsibilities:

- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate network infrastructure
- Provide operational support to internal users
- Research, Develop, Design and Architect systems and networks
- Monitor System and Network availability, performance and capacity
- Review and remediate security vulnerabilities across related systems and networks

Key Qualifications:

- Previous similar experience in System Administration and Network Engineering with technical accreditations ( i.e. MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, etc.)
- Experience administering corporate networks including switching, routing and Wi-Fi.
- Experience administering NMS in an ISP or Telco setting
- Experience administering and architecting virtualized server and storage platforms
- Knowledge of various network protocols
