IoT product… a bootstrapped, Belfast HQ’d SAAS company hiring a new team of engineers.

Principal Software Engineer
Belfast (Hybrid)
£80K - £100K p/a + equity, health insurance, pension etc

This will be the first hire on the team… they have a successful product already in operation (development outsourced), now moving the engineering function in-house. You’ll be architecting/building out their product, contributing to key conversations with senior leadership, and hiring a team of 7/8 engineers in 2025.

They’re agnostic on tech and the backend stack will be up for review, but definitely sticking with AWS Serverless, and their UI is React.

The person…

- Likely 10+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer.
- A fullstack engineer by trade, backend / frontend.
- AWS experience would be great to have.
- Track record of building solutions end-end.
- Experienced working with a high level of responsibility (startup experience would be ideal).
- Experience taking ideas through to production and overseeing the whole process.
- A good communicator and mentor.
