Job Title: Scrum Master (Contract Role)
Location: Dublin (3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 6months
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery and foster collaboration within our clients development teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of running Agile/Scrum teams and will excel in communication, planning, and conflict resolution. This role requires hands-on engagement with modern application development teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Guide teams in Agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to remove blockers, manage dependencies, and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Drive planning, capacity management, and sprint commitments with a focus on team outcomes.
- Provide proactive coaching and support to foster a high-performing team environment.
- Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and promote effective communication within and across teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7-8+ years of experience running Agile/Scrum teams.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Expertise in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and capacity management.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with development teams on modern applications.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and skilled in conflict resolution and coaching.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience managing and reporting on project progress.
- Proven ability to run 2+ Agile teams simultaneously.
