IT Search is excited to partner with a global leader in IoT solutions that’s transforming how businesses and individuals interact with the world through smart technologies. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead a small team, driving innovative, scalable solutions for real-time systems with a mix of hands-on coding and technical leadership.

In this role, you'll guide a team of developers, mentor talent, and manage project delivery. You'll be actively coding in Node.js, shaping architecture, and ensuring top-notch code quality. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll design scalable cloud and IoT solutions, streamline CI/CD processes, and share technical insights—making a real impact on modern connected systems.

What you need:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on edge device and cloud solutions for IoT.
- Proficiency in Node.js and experience with IoT frameworks (e.g., MQTT).
- Strong grasp of software design principles, scalable systems, and best coding practices.
- Effective communicator with problem-solving skills and familiarity with Docker, AWS, and databases like SQL or InfluxDB.

The starting salary for this role is expected to be €75-80K, along with a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The position is based in the Limerick office, with an ideal onsite presence of once or twice per week.
