IT Search has partnered with an industrial engineering multinational in Wexford that is looking to hire a highly experienced Embedded Software Engineer.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and optimising firmware for advanced embedded systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to innovative control, monitoring, and connectivity solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded applications.
- Experience with IoT or M2M systems and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, OPC, DNP3).
- Familiarity with network communication standards (TCP/IP, wireless protocols, 3G/4G).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience working in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team environment.
