Energy Pro began life as GST, a long-established Irish windfarm development and management company. Its principal, Sheila Layden, was a founder member of the Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA) and has been managing operational windfarms in Ireland since 1997. In 2014, the windfarm management aspect of GST was formed into EnergyPro Analytics, which focuses solely on analysis of operational windfarms.
