The Kedington Group of companies was founded in 1989 to serve the expanding market for information network systems and services. The company was purchased by Denis O’Brien’s Esat in 1999 and subsequently became part of Esat BT. In March 2003 the management of the company concluded an MBO.
With a turnover in excess of €10M, Kedington is Irelands’ largest LAN installer. In addition to a passive cabling business Kedington support a diverse portfolio of active solutions including Voice, LAN Switching, Wireless (WiFi) and power protection systems.
Kedington are HP Networking Gold Partners, a wireless partner for Meru, HP and Trapeze and a certified partner for AXIS IP CCTV solutions. Kedington are also Avocent (Schneider Electric) and APC partners
Kedington have designed and implemented voice, data, wireless and network management solutions for hospitals, transport companies and various SMEs.
In addition to Networking, Kedington also design and build Data Centres, focussing on energy efficiency, flexibility and minimisation of whole life costs. In the past twelve months Kedington have built Data Centres ranging in size up to 1.5 Mw.
Kedington is ISO9001 registered and all activities are carried out in accordance with established quality assurance procedures.
